Trip Planning

Trip planning is not easy when most of the high country is still covered with snow.

My choices of destinations for going backpacking this weekend are limited, with the snow level at 10,000 feet.

What I would like to find is a dry area with a good view of snow-covered peaks. I may give in though and head up with some snowshoes on - but haven't decided yet.
