Selecting a Tent Site

Selecting a tent site is an important step in having a good backpack trip. Try to find one that is level and dry and with a good view close by.


I try to get an early start so I can have my tent set up well before dark. A tent is your home in the backcountry, and goes along way at making your backpack trip successfull. Check out my article this week about selecting a tent site.
