Tired of going on a vacation and being hungover after the second day? Follow these five steps to have a perfect holiday that keeps the party alive and the pain away

Whether going camping for the long weekend, renting a cabin on the lake or making a week long boat trip with a group of mates, there’s a pretty good chance that there’s going to be drinking. And lots of it! However, when there are copious amounts of booze, there is usually a hangover to follow, right?

Well, not anymore.

Nothing ruins a week long trip more than getting sick on the second day. No one wants to spend half their vacation hugging the toilet or napping away the beautiful sunny day. So, how do you keep from getting sick but still continue to party hard the entire time? It’s simple really. All you have to do is follow these five easy steps that will guarantee the drunkest and craziest trip to paradise without the hangover from hell!

Keep Drinking

That’s right. Simple isn’t it? After waking up with a dry mouth and crusty lips hit the esky and grab a cold beer. Can’t quite handle another lager in the morning? Put some tomato juice in it to take away the bite. Plus, the veggies from the juice will give a daily kick.

Coffee drinker? Add a couple shots of Baileys instead of Milk. One beer or one cuppa and you’re back in the game by 9:00 am and ready for the day ahead.

Dive, Dunk and Swim

Hit that water with a vengeance. And the colder the better. Instead of soaking away a hangover in a hot shower, dive off the back of the boat into the lake, or dunk into the creek for a cool down. The cold water will wake up any one whether the body is ready or not!

And, if possible, jump on a tube, water ski or wakeboard. Instead of worrying about that pounding headache, concentrate on staying afloat. The icy water combined with the fresh breeze is a cast-iron way to propel that hangover right out of the system.

Consume Grease!! (and lots of it)

Think Cheeseburgers, hot dogs, French fries, anything deep fried, anything oozing with lard, anything easily thrown on the barbeque.

The saltier, the fattier, the better.

The grease cuts through liquor quickly which will settle the stomach. And conveniently, most food that is best served camping or on a barbeque is loaded with the fatty acid the body craves. Plus, it’s simple and easy. Because, honestly, after a long day of drinking, who has the time and effort to cook a healthy and nutritious meal? There’s far too much partying to do!

Play Drinking Games!

Get drunker quicker and feel no pain faster. If you are too busy doing shots then your body doesn’t have time to complain.

The best thing about drinking games is the variety. Never get bored; there are hundreds of different kinds. Try Kings or Drunk Driver with a deck of cards, or Flippy Cups if there are no cards in sight. Don’t know any drinking games- Google some. No excuses.

Dance Like There's No One Watching

Everyone knows that exercise is good for the body. But who really wants to go out jogging on a vacation? There’s a pretty good chance that the wilderness does not come equipped with a fully loaded gym. So, make do with what the great outdoors has to offer and turn that dirt into a dance floor!

Grab a CD player, Ipod and speakers or even just a car radio, turn it up full blast and just do it, dance. Get those endorphins working and dance away that hangover!

So, there it is: five easy and simple steps to kick that hangover to the curb and party away the entire holiday. So grab a couple bottles, a few dozen six packs and a whole group of friends and get holidaying. No hangover is going to get in the way ever again!
